POTTERY COLLABORATION W/ ARTIST ELISE PUTNAM From the day we met in our pre-freshman summer school clay class we have been supporting and challenging each other's art practice. This collaboration stems from both artists' interests in the cute and the macabre while tipping our hats to how we met.
This piece is made with a rich ochre stoneware clay body thinly coated in a porcelain slip with an original underglaze pencil drawing. A thin application of clear glaze over the slip allows for vibrance of the black underglaze to show through and gives a subtle texture to the bowl. This piece is completely food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe. Cone 10 Reduction Fired
