ROLL THE TAPE!
In the style of Mark Jenkins groups of four will create a site specific installation work of art. Mark Jenkins is a contemporary sculptural artist most known for his street installations. Jenkins creates plastic molds of people and objects using cellophane wrap and clear tape. With simple materials his work humorously interacts with surrounding area and causes the public to reevaluate the spaces they pass daily. This artwork should make the viewers call in to question their day to day world around them. Each group must have one page of notes and sketches of what they want their work to look like. (Don’t worry about making these look perfect, they are there to help organize and visualize your ideas.) Because this is a group project, you are all responsible to each other. You must be reliable and conscientious in order to complete this project.
